The Arepa Place is a Cincinnati restaurant that specializes in a Colombian and Venezuelan dish known as arepas. They started up in Cincinnati in 2016 by Isis Arrieta-Dennis. Isis, who is originally from Colombia, and her mother (who is also named Isis) do all of the cooking. Isis’ husband, Chris, is also involved in the operations of the business. Until mid-2018, they were cooking at Findlay Kitchen and selling at both Findlay Market and Fountain Square.
In the second half of 2018, they will be opening their first brick-and-mortar location in the famed Findlay Market in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati. In taking on such a big, public-facing project it was evident that The Arepa Place needed a fresh look and a super cohesive suite of collateral to draw people in to their restaurant. It was truly an honor to create the restaurant brand identity and collateral for this awesome woman & minority owned business, who is making waves in Cincinnati.
